This twin-engined fighter had two air-cooled inline engines in a tandem arrangement, of the type Walter Sagitta I-SR, 540 hp each. The D 23 was a single-seat plane. The wingspan was 11.50m, the length 10.20m.
Was it to be successful? We'll never know, because only one prototype was built (first flight July 1939) and during the fights against the invading German army it was destroyed on the ground.

Deze tweemotorige jager had twee luchtgekoelde motoren in een tandemopstelling van het type Walter Sagitta I-SR, van elk 540 pk. De D 23 was een éénpersoons vliegtuig. De spanwijdte bedroeg 11.5m, de lengte 10,2m.
Zou het een succes worden? Wij zullen het nooit weten, want slechts één protoype werd gebouwd (eerste vlucht juli 1939) en tijdens de gevechten tegen het Duitse leger werd het op de grond vernietigd.
